#ServeMoore Events happen quarterly and are a great way to begin serving. When you give just a few hours you are able to make a big difference in our community.
ServeMoore Work Day
Our community serviced the following strategic partners: the Boys and Girls Club, Churches in Mission, and Mooresville elementary schools. See some photos below from our all church work day in 2019. Join us next year!

So EAT MORE CHICKEN and give back to our community!
Help get the news out! Download this flyer and hang it in your company/school breakroom or community boards.
Opportunities to Serve
This is a great opportunity to serve as we are looking for volunteers to help in the serving line, cashiers, hosts/guest relations, and set-up/tear-down crews. Sign up to serve below or visit the table in the lobby this Sunday and next!
Come be a part of this exciting opportunity as we #SERVEMOORE and give back to our community.
Shoes for Kids 2019
Shoe collection drive for school kids, April 28-May 26
New this year, Mt. Gilead will collect (new) pairs of tennis shoes for Elementary through High School students. Collection will start April 28 and run through May 26. Shoes will be distributed through the school backpack distribution day in August. Stop in at the table in the lobby on Sundays through May 19 for more information and to pick up a tag to donate.
Bundle Up 2019
Looking ahead to Bundle Up this fall
Now is a good time to start buying coats that are on sale for Bundle Up, our annual coat drive. Just bring them to the welcome center in the lobby and we will store them until October’s event.
Our annual coat drive, Bundle Up takes place in October. Bundle Up provides Morgan County residents in need with winter coats, hats, and gloves. Mt. Gilead typically gives around 800 coats each year, along with a free hot breakfast.
