Study Resource: The Trinity: A Study of Relevant Scriptures - We usually think about the gospel simply as what saves us. We do not ordinarily think of it as God’s definitive way of revealing who he is. But the gospel unveils the Trinity. If we think that the doctrine of the Trinity is merely a tacked-on idea from subsequent church history, we’ve not yet understood the gospel. The Bible does not use the word “Trinity,” but describes it in various ways.
Study Resource: Grace & Truth: A Study - Do you know how many times the Greek words for grace and truth are found together in the New Testament? Just four times: John 1:14, 17; Colossians 1:6; and 1 Peter 5:12. By looking at those verses, we can gain insight into how we hold truth and grace in tandem without tension. We will start with John, since he has half the uses and they occur in the very same paragraph…

Study Resource: Jeff's Conclusion: "Jesus" in Poetic Format - Jeff closed his sermon this week with compelling assertions for believers to keep their eyes on Jesus - to maintain a Jesus-Centered Mentality. And Sarah Stanton modified those assertions into poetic format.
Study Resource: Maintain Focus on Jesus: A Study - Jesus must be at the heart of a believer’s spiritual life. According to Hebrews 12:2, “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.” Everything-forgiveness, spiritual growth, even our eternal destiny-flows from Him (John 14:6). By consistently recognizing this centrality, believers cultivate a deep-rooted commitment that guards against distractions.
Study Resource: Discover Jesus in Every Book of the Bible - Check out these various “book” studies from the bible to see Jesus throughout. For example, see Jesus in All of Genesis, in All of Daniel, in All of Esther, in All of Ruth, in All of Job, and of course in All of the New Testament.
Study Resource: Jesus: The Lion and the Lamb - In our journey of faith, we come across the majestic figure of the Lion of Judah, representing Christ’s powerful nature. The lion signifies His strength and authority. When we think of the Lion of Judah, we are reminded that we serve a God who is not only gentle and compassionate, like a lamb, but also fierce and mighty. This duality provides us with sacred assurance.

Video Resource: Praise the Alpha and the Omega: A Brief Study - The Lord is “the Alpha and the Omega” (Revelation 21:6, 22:13). He knows everything from A to Z. He is the First and the Last, the beginner and the ender of human history, the starting gun and the finish line, the eternal God “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8).

Study Resource: The Basis for Church Unity: An Article - In the New Testament, the favorite word used to describe the people of God is the word church. It is a translation of the Greek word ekklesia, which literally means “those called out.”
Study Resource: All Eyes on the Church: An Article - Jesus’ evaluation in Revelation warns that a church can look strong in service and doctrine while still abandoning its first love. Even faithful religious activity may mask a heart that has drifted from deep devotion and relationship with God. Repenting and rekindling time with God through prayer, Scripture, and Christ-centered focus restores true spiritual health.
Podcast Resource: Praying and Acting: A BibleProject Podcast - In this teaching we explore how Jesus' concept of prayer included asking God to act and acting oneself. We'll focus on the Lord's prayer, and discover within it a vision of praying and acting that promotes dependence on God as well as action.

Jesus died for us so that he could be alive in us today. Easter changes everything.
Study Resource: Evidence for Easter: Part 1 - Easter is a special time when the interest about Jesus and his death, burial, and resurrection is piqued for many. There are lots of people who share opinions. But few share the facts. This is the first of three posts giving facts about Jesus and his death, burial, and resurrection.
Study Resource: Evidence for Easter: Part 2 - The truth of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection is supremely important. But the position a person takes on these events should not be a matter of pride, arrogance, or blind faith.
