Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Where is Mt. Gilead located? And how do I get there?

A: We are at 6019 E. State Road 144. You may enter from Kitchen Road or State Road 144. Check out the driving directions page for a map and detailed directions.

Q: Where do I park?

A: The main parking lot is located at the front of the church. This large parking area can be accessed from both Kitchen Road or State Road 144.

First-time guests are encouraged to park in reserved parking spaces located closest to the Main Entrance doors in the main parking lot. For those who require handicap parking, the lot on the north side of the building is available. These parking spaces are close to the building.

Q: What door should I enter?

A: The Main Entrance doors – located in front of the main parking lot on the south side of the building – will take you into the Worship Center lobby.
Families with young kids might want to use the back entrance, located on the north side of the building. Whether you enter the main or back entrance, be sure to visit Guest Services to ask questions or learn about age-specific programming for your kids and students.

Q: Where should I go first or when I have questions?

A: Guest Services is located just inside both the main and back entrances. Volunteers working in these areas will answer your questions and help you and your children know where to go.

Q: Is kids' programming provided? And, is it safe?

A: Yes! Loving and safe kids' programming is provided at Mt. Gilead.
We have a check-in system to ensure your child’s safety and  well being – and your peace of mind. Upon arrival, a volunteer member at Guest Services can assist you to check in your child and help you and your children know where to go.

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: At Mt. Gilead, you’ll see a lot of variety in dress. Some people wear T-shirts and jeans. Others wear the more traditional Sunday attire. We don't judge by appearances because we know that God is interested in what's on the inside. So, come as you are.
