Invest in Your Calling
The Mt. Gilead Summer Internship is a paid ministry experience designed for college students and young adults who want to grow in their faith, develop leadership skills, and explore God's calling for their lives.
For ten weeks, interns become part of the ministry team at Mt. Gilead Church, serving alongside staff members, building relationships with other interns, and gaining hands-on experience in the local church. Whether you feel called to vocational ministry or simply want to grow as a leader, this program is designed to challenge, equip, and encourage you in your next season of life.
What Makes This Internship Different?
Learn by Doing
Interns are placed in a ministry area where they actively serve and contribute to the mission of the church. This is more than shadowing staff—it's an opportunity to lead, create, organize, and serve in meaningful ways.
Be Personally Mentored
Each intern is paired with a staff mentor who provides encouragement, guidance, and practical ministry insight throughout the summer.
Grow as a Leader
Weekly leadership development sessions focus on topics such as ministry philosophy, team dynamics, spiritual leadership, communication, and personal growth.
Build Lasting Relationships
Interns experience ministry together, learn from one another, and develop friendships that often extend far beyond the summer.
