MORGAN COUNTY — Through a generous partnership with Mooresville Mt. Gilead Church, each Morgan County deputy now carries a First Responder Care Kit. Each kit contains non perishable foods and toiletries.

"A deputy may find themselves on a call for service where these kits, supplied by the members of Mt. Gilead Church, are a welcomed gift to individuals or families that need a helping hand." Morgan County Sheriff Rich Myers said. " Thank you Mt. Gilead Church for your work and dedication to the citizens of Morgan County."

MOORESVILLE (Feb 28, 2019) — Chick-fil-A is finally coming to Morgan County … kinda.

Mt. Gilead Church in Mooresville is partnering with Chick-fil-A in Plainfield, and starting in April, patrons will be able to buy Chick-fil-A products at the Mt. Gilead Community Center on “Chick-fil-A Wednesdays” — all while supporting their community.

According to the church’s Outreach and Involvement Minister Jen Reed, beginning on April 3, the church will sell a variety of Chick-fil-A’s most popular menu items and donate all of the money from sales to various community organizations.

MOORESVILLE – Fall weather is finally here. In preparation for the drop in temperature, Mt.
