We encourage everyone to draw near to God and go far for Him. We believe that getting involved in our Adult Ministries is a good way to deepen your faith. You will love being in a Life Group. We also offer MG Men, MG Women, and other special opportunities to help you connect, grow, and serve.

At Mt. Gilead, we believe that life is better connected. If you've been around Mt. Gilead for long at all, you will have heard us say that we want people to Connect, Grow, and Serve. Our LifeGroups program is the "how" of the "grow" in our discipleship strategy. Our LifeGroups are the best vehicle we know to take someone down the road of Christian discipleship and maturity in their faith.

Young at Heart (seniors 55 and up) emphasizes fellowship through luncheons, short trips and ministering to the needs.  We meet every other month for a luncheon, and take short trips to places of interest every other month. Through it all we enjoy ministering to the needs of hurting Seniors.

We all need to draw near to others for encouragement and fellowship. We all need to to reach out and minister to those in need.

If you would like to join us for this fun and ministry, check out the calendar for detailed information concerning this ministry or contact Terry Crist.

We also offer MG Grandparents as a resource to be part of your grandchildren's christian journey.

Mt. Gilead offers classes during the second Sunday service in an effort to help adults grow toward spiritual maturity by providing Biblical, Christ-centered studies as well as an opportunity to meet and interact with others.

9:00 a.m., Adult Bible Study

Randy Norman, Room G10

Randy is a veteran teacher of God’s Word and leads a class that studies Scripture in a verse-by-verse fashion. Currently, the class is working through Faith Under Fire by David Faust, which is a study of 1st and 2nd Peter.

10:15 a.m.,
Randy Davee, Room B2

The Connections Class is currently studying the term, "The Rock," as it shows up throughout the Bible.

This is a permanent Sunday morning Adult Bible Fellowship class designed to build lasting relationships. The purpose of this class is to grow friendships and discuss the Word (this is not a lecture class). We pray for and support each other and enjoy some extra fellowship outings. Everyone is welcome. No invitation is needed. There are new attendees all the time. Come check us out!

10:15 a.m., Fusion

Dave Thurman, Room G1

The Fusion Class is currently studying the Minor Prophets.

Webster’s Dictionary defines fusion as  “a merging of diverse elements into a unified whole.” This class, led by Dave Thurman, is a continuing class that meets on a weekly basis, offering fellowship and friendship as well as study and learning. It is open to adults of all ages, and features coffee and breakfast finger foods each week. It’s a great place to meet people and to study Scripture in a discussion-oriented venue.

Our Pastoral Care ministry provides support and encouragement to those who are sick, injured and hospitalized. We also provide assistance and grief support for those who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Please let us know if you or a loved one would like pastoral care.
