Mt. Gilead Church has an active prayer minstry that provides a variety of opportunities for followers to participate in prayer.

My Euchomai: Euchomai is one of several Greek words translated "prayer." This prayer initiative has been carefully designed to strengthen the foundation of Mt. Gilead Church and to build a prayer ministry that will bathe in prayer every minister, ministry, event, program, services, etc., that happens at Mt. Gilead.

Sunday bulletin prayer list: Receives prayer requests by filling out a prayer request card located in the prayer room at the church or by contacting the church office and requesting a prayer request be placed in the bulletin. Requests must be received by noon on Thursday to be in the following Sunday bulletin. Requests remain in the bulletin for 30 days.

Prayer E-mail Ministry: Receives and passes on prayer requests via e-mail. Updates and praises also are passed on to those on the prayer e-mail list. To send a prayer request, send an e-mail to . To be added to the prayer list to receive prayer requests by e-mail, send an e-mail to and put "Please add me to your group list" in the e-mail as well as your name.

Telephone Prayer Chain Ministry: Receives prayer requests and then passes them on through a telephone chain. This type of prayer request system works well for those who are accessible by phone most of the day. Contact the church office at (317) 831-1900 for more information about this ministry.

Come Pray With Me Ministry: This is for anyone who would like to have one or more people meet with them to pray for a specific need. It could be illness, employment, family, tragedy, etc.

Prayer Room: The Mt. Gilead Prayer Room is available all week long. If praying with someone is what you desire, each Sunday there is someone in the prayer room following the morning services. They will pray with you or talk with you about any decisions or prayer requests you may have.
