Here are the missions Mt. Gilead Church supports in Indiana and the United States:

Indiana

  • Beyond the Chains Ministry: Based locally in Camby, Beyond the Chains ministers to the incarcerated in Marion and surrounding counties. Beyond the Chains strives to teach prisoners how to live beyond the chains of the circumstances in their life and to let Christ transform them. beyondthechains.blackbaudnow.org

  • Camp Allendale: Located in Trafalgar, the camp provides youth activities for all ages. www.camp-allendale.org

  • Churches in Mission: Provides local support and financial help for the Mooresville community. churchesinmission.org

  • Missions Alive: Headquartered in Mooresville, Missions Alive serves as a training center for missionaries and works to supply them with the tools to spread the Gospel. www.missionsalive.org

  • Weekday Religious Education: Serves Morgan County through the local school system, as Weekday Religious Education is introducing children to the Word of God. This local mission is legally allowed to operate as long as the children come voluntarily to classes.

United States

  • Cincinnati Christian University: Serves as a training ground for ministers, youth ministers and missionaries. They also operate a graduate school. www.cccuniversity.edu

  • Kentucky Christian University: Serves as a training ground for ministers, youth ministers and missionaries. www.kcu.edu

  • IDES: International Disaster Emergency Service Inc. is headquartered in Kempton, Ind., and serves as a disaster agency to relieve suffering around the globe, providing food, medicine, housing, etc., in the name of Christ. www.ides.org

  • Key Communications: Key Communications home offices are in Portland, Ore. From there, they operate the Asian Evangelism Center for work in converting Muslims to Christianity in Pakistan.
